Our Guarantee
We guarantee that every book you buy from us will be in good reading condition, and where there is a description of the book’s condition online, it will be true and accurate. The photos you see of our used books featured on our website are photos we've taken ourselves unless otherwise noted.
Payment
For online purchases we accept payments by all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
For in-person purchases we accept payments by cash and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Refunds
All in-person sales are FINAL.
All online sales are FINAL as well unless the item is not as we've described, in which case we will issue you a full refund as long as you return the item promptly (no more than 5 days from date of purchase except in extenuating circumstances) and it is in the same condition that it was received.
For returns of online purchases that meet the above standard, we will refund the full purchase price plus return postage, but we ask that you please contact us before you return your order so we know to keep an eye out for your return shipment.
Book Availability
In rare cases the book you order online may be unavailable. In this situation we will cancel your order, refund your payment, and send you an email notification with our profound apologies.
Shipping
All orders -- international and domestic -- are eligible for shipping. We take great care to pack books safely and securely so they arrive at your doorstep in the same condition as when they left our shop.
In-Person Pick Up
All domestic orders can be picked up in-person at our Honeoye Falls bookshop for FREE.
Shipping Terms
All domestic orders ship by USPS Media Mail for a charge of USD $5.50 for the first book and $1.50 for each additional book. Online orders that are equal to or greater than USD $65.00 qualify for FREE SHIPPING via USPS Media Mail.
Expedited shipping is available for domestic orders. For those who select this shipping option at checkout, someone from the bookshop will contact you about your expedited shipping preferences. Once we have those, we will email you an invoice for the expedited shipping charge.
All international orders ship by the United States Postal Service unless otherwise requested.
Those wishing to place orders that require international shipping should select the appropriate shipping option at checkout. Once the order is placed you will receive an email from us with a quotation for various shipping options. Simply respond with your desired shipping method and we will email you an invoice for either the entire order (books plus shipping) or shipping only; it will depend on the the payment method you used at checkout.
